The Tyne Tunnel 2K International is a unique wheelchair race taking place on Friday September 14 at Tyne Tunnel 1. It combines a mixture of speed, technical ability, physical fitness and stamina, providing a challenge that these world-class athletes find irresistible.
Susan Wear, Port of Tyne Director of Corporate Affairs, said: "The Port of Tyne is delighted to be supporting the 12th annual Tyne Tunnel wheelchair race and welcoming athletes who come from all over the world.
