Port of Tyne is proud to support Little Mix06 Dec 2011
The Port of Tyne has joined supporters of South Shields girls Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards in the X Factor finalist girl band ‘Little Mix'.
The Port sponsors the annual Pride of South Tyneside Awards' young performer of the year category which was won by Jade two years ago and previously by X Factor winner Joe McElderry.
Andrew Moffat, Port of Tyne, Chief Executive Officer says: "We are delighted to support and encourage young people in their aspirations to do well, whatever field they choose. Jade and Perrie have worked very hard and proved to be fantastic ambassadors for the area."
The Port has commissioned a mobile ad-van which can be seen around Tyneside encouraging people to keep voting for Little Mix.
