The Port of Tyne welcomes you to the Maritime Innovation Week 2023 Hackathon! On November 9th, immerse yourself in a day of creativity and collaboration at our state-of-the-art Maritime Innovation Hub. This hackathon is not just a competition; it's a gateway to transforming the future of maritime excellence.
What's in Store? At this hackathon, we challenge YOU to turn our ambitious Tyne 2050 strategy's core themes - innovation, sustainability, green energy, and safety - into captivating 2D games. Your mission? Gamify these vital concepts, making them accessible, engaging, and fun for all our Port colleagues.
Why Participate? Your innovation and creativity could help you win a cash prize of £500 and showcase your talents and abilities to a panel of industry experts!

About Maritime Innovation Week 2023: Maritime Innovation Week 2023 is a pioneering event uniting innovators, industry leaders, and maritime experts to explore groundbreaking solutions to the maritime industry's most pressing challenges.
