Venture Connect launched in February 2024 at the Port of Tyne’s 2050 Innovation Hub linking SMEs in the North East region with maritime industry investors. This is a great opportunity to accelerate the progress of your start-up organisation looking to innovate in the maritime industry. We offer access to expert business coaching, one-on-one mentorship, a network of investors, and the time to network with like-minded individuals.


Who is Venture Connect For?

Venture Connect is intended for SMEs contributing to green growth in the North East region and likewise, responsible investors with an equally green agenda looking to provide these SMEs with the correct funding to accelerate their venture. The program caters to a diverse range of participants, spanning from universities seeking to commercialize valuable research to forward-thinking CEOs intentionally aiming to bring innovative solutions to maritime challenges onto the market.
