OVERVIEW
The Port of Tyne’s 16 metre workboat, the Sir Bobby Robson, provides a multi-purpose option for hire by customers.
The workboat is fitted with a 6 metre dredging plough, 17 tonne hydraulic crane and 12 tonne winch, enabling it to support a wide range of marine activities.
Recent work undertaken by our workboat has included buoy tender/installation and dive support, as well as providing a working platform.
